Philadelphia Foster Care Agency??

Hi everyone...I love the forum...Im interested in becoming a foster parent..I live in NE Philly...Im wondering if anyone knows of a good, agency...Im really interested in Foster to Adopt....boy or girl ages birth to 4.
Does anyone in Philly have any experience with this...I havn't yet started the process...just hoping to get some good solid info on a good agency...I've heard some nightmare stories...so Im being cautious...thanks so much for your help.

I am in Allegheny county, but I was told that if I wanted in that age group, that I should go with cyf itself. They get the calls first.

cyf is children youth and family, or you could say the county. I think all counties and states call it something different.

Ahhh ok....from what I understand here in Philly all of the foster care is done through private agencies now instead of DHS...I guess things are different in each area of PA...thanks for post though...
