Question Question on foster/adopt in Lehigh county

Has anyone foster/adopted from Lehigh county if so I need some info. We are pass the 15 month mark for our foster child and we are to go to court on the 6th of May to terminate birthmom's rights. But last week they got in contact with supposed birthfather. He agree to a dna test but they don't think the resaults will be back before court. My question is if the test comes back that he is the birthfather and we are pass the 15 month mark how long will he have to get his act together or how long will this procces take.

I have worked with lehigh county b 4... and IMO.. the rule would be the same in all countys... alot will ride on if hes the father or not.. the judge may simply say.. to come back in 3 months.. unless they can prove b 4 then either.. he is the father but not a suitable parent.. ofcourse they will check his backround.. his living situation.. ect.. this may not have been the answer u wanted to hear.. and im really keepin my fingers crossed for ya.. sadly.. the 15 month law .. dosent always mean anything... ive foster 2 diff groups of kids.. each over 2 yrs at a time...the law is there but rarely applyed.... and that needs to be changed... if u would like to talk PM me

Lehigh County foster

I have been working with them for over 2 years.
I had some good and bad. But no matter what county you deal with always get everything in writing.

Just ask me anything.:confused
