Question Anyone from Lancaster County?

I was wondering if anyone was dealing with the Children and Youth Agency in Lancaster County. We are meeting in 2 weeks for our pre screeing interview. I just wanted to get some more info. Thanks!

I'm from Montgomery county, not too far away. Sorry I can't help you with Lancaster country, but if you need anything else I'll try.

we are from Berks County and I don't remember anything being specifically called a "pre-screening" but a SW did come to the house to personally give us all our paperwork and meet us and our children. We sat at the table and chatted casually for a couple of hours while she unloaded this MASS of papers to read and fill out.
I imagine that is what your "pre-screening" would be!!
Relax (and tell your husband to, too!)

Thanks for the advice, I'm getting more relaxed. How has your foster/adoption experience been in PA? We are looking to fost/adopt a cc baby. How long did you have to wait for your first placement? Did you have any plans for adopting? Did you go with a county or private agency? We are going with county. Thanks for sharing.
