NEw Support Group PA/NJ Area
Hi everyone! I have been away from the boards for quite sometime busy with so many different things. But I am still very appreciative of all the help I recieved here, I continue to refer people to the boards, because it really did help me a great deal.
Gavin is doing great and motherhood is soo wonderful. I wanted to post and let everyone know that I along with another adoptive mom will be starting a support group in the PA/NJ area. The group is is geared towards African Americans who are considering adoption, are currently adoptive parents, as well as adoptive parents who are parenting (or plan to parent) African American children. If you live in or near the PA/NJ/DE area feel free to PM for more information about our group, and our 1st group meeting to be held next month. Hope everyone is doing great! __________________

Is this just for African American parents, or CC parents who are parenting AA children. I am interested, but I am CC.

Yes the group is open to people of any and every race who are parenting african american children. You are more than welcome

Hi! My husband and I are just starting the adoption process. We are an interracial couple and are hoping to adopt a bi-racial or AA infant. I would appreciate any information on reliable agencies that service PA (we are in a suburb of Philadelphia) and am also very interested in your support group, so please PM me information on your group.
