My husband and I are interested in Domestic adoption. While we can find adoption agencies in Bethlehem/Allentown or Scranton/Wilkesbarre, we are coming up short on agencies in Monroe and Pike counties.
Does anyone have any information on agencies that would be more local to us than Bethlehem/Allentown or Scranton/Wilkesbarre Areas?

I work in Monroe county and am familiar with the area. We live in Northampton County. We adopted domestically through an out of state agency. I have not heard of any agencies in those areas. I would think your closest agencies would be in a more urban area where there are more resources available.

Have you checked with religious organizations in Monroe and Pike counties? They may have affiliation with adoption agencies. Although I am Catholic and still think if you lived in that area your services would still be the Diocese of Scranton. I also know several of the families I worked with adopted through Lutheran Home in Topton.
