I-600A Processing Philadelphia
Can anybody that received their I71H recently tell me how long it took Philadelphia to process it?
My husband and I sent our check and application on 02/27/04, had our fingerprints done and sent to FBI on 03/30/04, FBI received and processed on 03/31/04 and forwarded them to INS 04/01/04. Still waiting for our I71H. I noticed their website says they are processing applications received on or before 02/23/04...is that the original application date or the fingerprints?

INS - PHILA
We just adopted our daughter from Samoa. The whole process was very easy and quick until we have to file our I600 with INS in Phila. What a nightmare. A word of advise..Call Senator Spectors office for help. Thats what we did and they were able to get us an approval in 2 days! Otherwise we would still be waiting. Good Luck! By the way, the date should be the date of application, not fingerprints.

Hi ,
My husband and I are from Lititz Pa, and are homestudy approved for a domestic adoption, but are thinking about switching to international to adopt a little 18 month girl in Guatemala. I have talked to the out of state agency that is in charge of this little girl's adoption and they said to try to get INS approval ASAP!! so we can put a "HOLD/MATCH" on this particular baby. Could you possibly share the contact (and or) phone number in Senator Spectors office to help speed up our process? Please private message us Thank you for any help With appreciation, John and Donna |
