My name is Jeannine and I have a 18 month old girl. We adopted her when she was 3 months old. I am a stay at home mom and tryng to start a local adoption support group in my area. I don't know very many people who have adopted and would love to meet other people who have to share information with and support on another.

We are starting the adoption process again for a second adoption and are learning how hard it is the second time around.
So if you live around the Erie area please post and let me know if you are intrested in forming a group.

Hello!! There are two support groups not too far from you!! We have a very casual group in the Oil City/Franklin area called Forever Families. We meet twice per year for a pot luck dinner or picnic and just talk and let the kids play. It is a really fun group full of domestic and international adoptions. I personally have two bio sons and three daughters from India. There is also a group in the Meadville area which meets every other month. They are more scheduled with speakers and more structured subjects. They have a website...Northwest PA Foster/Adoption support group...it is on yahoo.
