Hi ! I was wondering if there are any legal aspects that I should look into or know about when it comes to fund-raising for our adoption ?
I have a couple ideas that im working on but if someone has
any suggestions ide be happy to hear them...

Hi ! I do fundraising as part of my full time job, and I know there are a lot of legal areas that need to be covered when doing fundraising. I'm not sure what you have in mind, but in some states you need a license to do any type of fundraising. Unless you are talking about things people do when adopting.. such as.. instead of christmas presents... you ask people to donate to your adoption fund... or instead of birthday gifts.. you ask for money for your adoption fund.. I don't think you can do things such as sell raffle tickets to raise money for an adoption... or ... sell flowers.. have a beef n' beer.. etc... But you can check with your state office for fundraising Good luck !
