Home Study & Act 33/34
I am a Pastor in Western PA and I am helping a young couple with their adoption. They were wondering what happens during the home study and what to expect from the background check.

Hi, Pastor Dan.
I think it is great of you to spend so much time helping that couple. Welcome to the boards. Are they going for infant adoption or from foster care? If they are looking at the state system, feel free to send me a private message. I am also from SW PA, so maybe I could help you some. I'm no means an expert, but I'm in the trenches now myself, waiting to be matched.
