Looking for birth grandmother
Looking for Dorothy (Baer) Beck born 11/11/26. Was born and raised in Philadelphia off of Frankford Ave. Gave birth to at least 5 children (3 boys, 2 girls) all given up for adoption through Catholic Charities. My mother and one uncle given up in 1950 or 1951. My mother was six and had a very vague recollection of her mother. I have spoken with a former husband of Dorothy's (Mr. Beck) but they were only married for six weeks and there were no children of that marriage. Nor did he know anything about her.
It is like she dropped off the face of the earth. Please, if you can help me I would very much appreciate it. I need some answers and am desperately needing some medical background as my mother is suffering from some relatively serious issues.
