question
My son was born at 37 weeks, but had a lot of difficulty breathing. He spent only 2 weeks in NICU. We had alot of feeding issues in the first month home, but now we are fine. However, at 4 1/2 months (actual), he has no interest in lifting his head while on his tummy. He gets tummy time at least 2X per day with me and some interesting toys trying to coax him into looking up. Also, he only wants to look to the right. When I postion his head to the left, he will always turn back to the right. I have tried interesting toys and such on the left but he doesn't seem to care. He will not sleep unless he is swaddled. I heard this may weaken his upper body. Should I be worried? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks. |
