OT: Need some Perspective

Hi,
First, let me assure you this isn't about my child, but child is a close relative!!

I'll be blunt so it's clear.
First, it's NOT my kid, either of them! But am closely related to the boy. Is a 6 yr old girl that is the daughter of a relatives sibling's significant other. How "damaging" is it, or, how freaked out should we be if the 6 yr old is caught with her pants down, foldling herself in front of the boy, 4 yrs old? (she has a past history of sexual abuse herself).

I'm pretty sure my reaction is/would be extreme. Based on just this little info, is there a need to get this 4 yr old "help"? How worried (if at all) might you be with your own 3 yr old girl around this boy now. Boy is a good kid, no prior issues there.

hope that makes sense,
thanks

I wouldn't freak out. I would have a discussion concerning private parts and good touch bad touch and how to tell etc. I assume the girls parents are aware?

I would supervise my son around her. She may have learned that people like her to do things that aren't safe for her or others.

Our family had a similar experience, cousins 4 yrs old playing house and started to undress to get ready for bed. Completely innocent at that age but a discussion is necessary.
