[Bug-n-Bears-Mommy]

I was watching TV in the living room when DH decides to "play" with his new surround sound system. He starts switching everything from TV, radio, and starts switching various "outputs".


FINE! I go to the family room and turn on a program. I start looking around and see what pig-pen it is and start cleaning up. Next thing you know DH is down here hooking up his old sterio speakers to THIS TV...oh, and has to change the channel on this too!

As if it is not bad enough that we can't watch a single program without him scanning for something else during the commercials. Maybe I am PMS-ing...but I am ready to scream!

I can so feel your pain. I get so frustrated and they never understand why we get upset!

My dh loves to channel surf too. I don't even try to watch tv till he goes to bed. But the problem is my computer is in the den, where he watches tv. and he has a terrible habit of flipping thru and stopping on something like the Korean shopping network, Mexican game show or Arabic mtv.... then gets up and leaves the room taking the remote with him! Since we have digital cable you can't change the channel without the remote!

Oh, yeah...the "NEED to have the remote to do ANYTHING" world we live in now! That is the other thing that I hate...the new surround sound system has a remote of it's OWN! If it is set a certain way I can't just turn the volume up or down with the regular remote...or I turn the TV off and the sound stays on! Can't he just stop messing with stuff??
