Smoke Detector
Does anyone have one of those fire alarms that you can record your own message onto? I am thinking about buying one, but they are expense and I wondered if they are as good as they seem.

Yes NDN,
We got one last month after seeing a special report on them on our local news channel. They showed how kids sleep right through the normal alarm, and the voice activated ones they woke right up to! As soon as I saw that I knew it was a good investment! We love it!

I have an ordinary smoke/fire alarm and a carbon monoxide detector, but don't believe that my children would wake up with the alarm. I have been considering this talking alarm, but can only find it online. Are there any stores that are carrying them, or do I need to order online?
