Hello everyone!
I thought I would start a post on free stuff available to us hard working parents. We have decided to adopt 3 children 4 years old and younger and could use all the help we can get. I'm sure we'll be taking advantage of resale shops, yard sales, and the kindness of friends and family. I also found a few things online, but I know there is always more out there. So, here is where I've been so far and been able to order a few free things that I think are useful or just pretty cool. Who else has a good site or maybe just good advice on very inexpensive or free stuff for kids? http://www.justfreestuff.com/kids.html

You can also go to yahoogroups (or I would guess any other online groups) and find a freecycle group in you area. Basically the idea behind the freecycle is you may not need something anymore - instead of selling it, post it and someone else may need it. Conversly, you can post a "wanted".
This is not just for junk. I have seen cribs, furniture, computers, firewood.... I belong to the one in my area and enjoy it. |

Thanks for this awesome idea. I had never seen it before and there is one in my area! I'm planning to share the news with my friends and coworkers who are all always trading things.
