Kia Sedona car seat issue

I wasn't sure where to post this, but saw that some of you have a Kia Sedona. So I thought I'd try here.

I have a Sedona. Starting in January, I will be watching my infant nephew. On Saturday, I tried to put his Graco car seat base in my car and the seat belt wouldn't tighten enough because of that little button on the seat belt. Anybody else have this problem or know how to fix it?
