I know a little about EMDR, but I did not know you coud use it with Children. It is a process that helps a person uncover and process painful memories. It is not hypnosis. It usually has pretty quick results. I think if your child has PTSD, and your therapist has experience with this technique you could ask them about it. I plan on asking my daughter's.
