Has anyone started an adoption in Panama?

I'm just wondering if anyone else has begun their adoption since the first posting to this Panama board. My husband and I have a Panamanian attorney and have sent him all of our authenticated (by Panamanian consulate) documents, but that's as far as we've gotten (since September 2002!!!).
