We are from Spain, are living near Seville, and since March, have the paperworks in Panamá. We are adopting with an attorney.
These days we are very nervous because it is posible we recieve referral soon.
There are few adoptions from Panamá in Spain and we are very glad to having found this forum.

Hello,

It is good to hear from someone adopting from Panama. We are in the process and are waiting for our homestudy to be completed. We were going with an attorney but are now thinking about going with an agency here in US. I hope your referal comes soon. Please keep us informed. What draws you to Panama? I am 1/2 Panamanian, my mom is from there. I have always wanted to adopt a child and it seems only natural to go to Panama. We are at a stand still right now, waiting for the homestudy. I feel so helpless. It does not seem like the adoption is going to happen. I really down right now. I want to move forward with this but we are so dependent on others.
