Wow Panama is really getting to be an exciting program. My DH and I are going with Commonwealth and we are really happy with them, I spoke with world partners and they too seemed nice, I just liked the fact that Commonwealth has dossiers in country already. I really think that Panama is new and the agency can only do so much until more families travel. Commonwealth has been very honest in the development of the Panama process and I like that in an agency, and I am happy we chose them.

We are in the process of adopting through Commonwealth adoptions. Commonwealth has been very honest and upfront about opening the Panama program. They have been working with Panama since last November and the first couple travelled in May. It has been a long process, and they are continuing to work it.
We, along with one other couple, are the next in line to travel to Panama. Our paperwork has been in Panama since the beginning of June, and we should have a referral very soon. Commonwealth has kept us informed along the way of any changes to the program (extra paperwork, etc.).

We are happy with our choice, and the information they have provided. There were a number of unknowns at the beginning. They let us know what they wanted for the program, but they also informed us that these were best guess situations.

We were excited to be part of the pilot program, so we were willing to be flexible.
