The Philippines has other issues...

Besides slow wait times for adoptions, the country is now trying to impeach yet another President.

Un-believable!

Unfortunately, the Philippines is now known for it's government corruption to many people more than anything. Gloria looks like she may be in a lot of trouble with this. Calling an election official and saying she wants to win the election by 1,000,000 votes? I thought that only happens in the US

Do you really think a popular candidate can loose by a close margin in the Philippines without cheating? The majority of the voters are poor at least 80%. Most of the politics in the Philippines is propaganda. Even a lot of the opposition is made up so the propaganda is more believable. It is obvious what she did. She reduced the field of competition, bought ROCO who was easily worth 4M votes and padded the voting for the rest. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if she actually owned the whole playing field. She's not going anywhere unless she's tired of playing up there.
