Children ages 2-4
Are there different wait times for children these ages? I think I read that people adopting older children are having the same wait time problems as adopting young childen.

Me:Aaron-32 and DH:Chad-33 Bio mom of: G- 9, B- 6, A-mom of: A-3yr Homestudy Aug 2004 Contacted w/ first Agency Dec 2004 Waited 8 months Contacted w/ 2nd Aug 2005 3 weeks later matched Baby A born 8/20/05 In our arms for good 8/25/05 Postplacement begins... postplacement done papers filed with courts in 11/05!!!! awaiting judge signoff! Finalized on 6/06  Starting again 7/06 Homestudy for 2nd adoption started 7/06 HomeStudy visit 8/3/06 Application sent to agency 8/9/06 6/07 Contact by agency for 2 seperate adoptions in 2 weeks and declined... Any child under age 5 has a longer wait in the Philippines right now. The orphanage we work with has absolutely no children left under age 5 (all have either gone back to their families, or been adopted), and they are the largest orphange in the Philippines.

|
As of a couple of months ago, they didn't have any children except one boy who I don't know if he is adoptable. They might still have a baby or two in the infant room, but I'm not sure.
