If the child to be adopted is going to leave the Philippines. You have to taking the Inter Country Adoption Route and to be processed and matched by the Inter Country Adoption Board (ICAB) in the Philippines. If the child is to be adopted and stay locally in the philippines. You only need a decree granted by the local court and the process is A LOT less complicated.

There is always a backdoor in the Philippines
and I strongly advise you DON'T TRY IT. We have been asked to "bite" on this backdoor but we completely refused.

She went to a small town in the Philippines and paid P100,000 to a family and successfully brought the child to the United States.Since then, everyone is putting high hope of such occurance ! I have absolutely no idea how this can be done but the back door seems to swing very well for her !

Well I have talked to the ICAB, my father is in the Philippines right now on a business trip and is trying to help out. The ICAB told me that once the documents are there, it only takes about a month to get a referal. The agency that I was refered to here in NC said that it is taking them up to a year to get referal from the ICAB...whats up with that?
