I don't seem to make it out here often these days and figured it was time to see what's going on with my over 40 forum friends.

So, what's happening with everyone? Anyone in process of another adoption? Fostering? Thinking about adoption or fostering?

DH and I brought our dd home from Guatemala in the end of March. She is now 20 months old and we have started adoption #2. This time we're adopting from Ethiopia and hope to bring home another infant girl sometime before the end of the year. Of course that is assuming we can ever get our home study completed. We submitted our application the beginning of October and were told it would just be an update. However, our interview didn't take place until the week of Thanksgiving. Three weeks later we were informed that we needed another set fingerprints completed and mailed to the FBI. Three weeks after we mailed in our prints my dh got his clearance I got a letter with another print card stating I needed to get them redone because their computer couldn't read my prints. I got them done and mailed back in last week and am now back to waiting for my clearance, assuming they can read them this time.

Fortunately, I've got all our dossier documents completed and we are going to get notarizations done on Friday. So, while our home study isn't going as hoped, everything else is moving along.
