Hi,
I am 46, DH is 40, bio-boy is 6.5. We've been trying to adopt for over a year. Had a disrupted placement. Was next in line for a referral from Vietnam when the program closed. I notice that most of us who are waiting and waiting at our agency are over 35, while the 20-somethings come and go (are quickly matched). Does anyone have any experience with/advice about this kind of situation? Has anyone else noticed a wide difference of success in the different age groups? Am I just naive in thinking that it should be otherwise? Looking for some feedback on my perception of reality, LOL! Thanks, MNhopemom ![]() |

I am so sorry for your long wait! Are you stil pursuing international adoption or domestic? I do realize that the wait know matter is sooooooo long. Please let us know how your journey progresses!
