now that we have the faith down

I would like to hear where ou are in your adoptions. what has God done to help you. no matter what faith we are, we are all in this together. I beleive that if god did not have his hand on our adoption, we would not be where we are today. Our soon to be daughter even got her name from God. would like to tell our story and hear others to. maybe we can incourage each other through the long wait. God bless you. leann

I just got to meet my b family this past xmas. I've always wanted to know anything that I could about my b family. My faith has definetly carried me through this experience. Still have a lot of questions and probably always will but I know that GOD would never give me more to handle than I would be able too. The whole meeting process was very comfortable and natural. Would love to chat with anyone. Good luck to you all and hope to talk to you all soon. Kelly

I think adoption is a wonderful thing. I have three bio children and one adopted and waiting for the other adoption to be done. I know my adotped children have bio family, but in the case of my adopted dd, she needed to be with us. I know that God had his hand in it. there are different reasons for adoption and if you are able to meet your bio family and all goes well, I wish you the best. God has to be in every thing that we do. In my daughters case I dont think it would be good to meet her bio family, but it is not up to me but to God. I still have seven more years before that. It gives me time to pray and be at ease about whatever God decides to do. I know he has had his hand in this new adoption also. Every time we have needed money for something, it just seem to be there. All the furniture was donated to us from different people. the strange thing is that it all matches. one day my dh and I were talking about a name for her and decided to pray about it. We were talking and I said that she was destined to be ours and my husband said our faith is what got her here. We received her name. Destiny Faith. there has been other things to. I would love to here of other things that God has done.

joy42, you will have your children when the time is right. To us it may seem an eternity, to God it is a mere grain of sand. When you do finally meet your children you will know why you are waiting now. Stay strong in your faith, be assured of the right outcomes that happen in the right way and the right time.
We have adopted two children from the foster system, and are now looking for number three. We also have one biological child, born two months after my 40th birthday. For many years we despaired that we would never be parents. But now, with two 10 year olds and a 7 year old we can see that God's timing is perfect!
