Arrow November 1936 Adoptee San Diego, CA (daughter iso Father's birthparent(s))

I am the daughter of an adoptee born in 1936.

My father was born in San Diego, CA. He is now 69 and yes still living. For many years I have had this burning desire to find our who the other 1/2 of us is.

I am really posting b/c the search has been never ending, and I assumed it would be. Being born that long ago, can throw alot of curve balls atcha.

It is a possibility that his birthmother may have traveled from NY to CA to place him for adoption.

We have also been told they owned a Department Store (not our reason for the search).. but this is just information we have been given. There is some possible connection that maybe his birthmother is from the Kress Family? We are not sure. It is also believed that maybe his birthmother was a young unwed woman or maybe a teenager at the time of his birth. He was adopted between 3-6mo. of age. He was blonde haired, with hazel blue/green eyes as very young child. Very handsome man as an adult, with then dark brown hair w/hazel eyes and tall.

I am hoping that maybe someone of interest will fall upon this post and will guide me to finding either a sibling or family member of my father's birthmother and or father.

It is understandable that many a times the birthparents just dont want to be found. I can completely respect that. But to be able to put closer or just to learn where part of you came from would be too wonderful. I look at my father and often times, I wonder who he looks like and amazed at his calm demeanor and personailty and I wonder were his parents like that also. Then also, knowing that they are a part of me, is so mysterious at times... b/c knowing my mothers side, then looking at my father, myself, I take after my father... I just wonder!

Considering my father was adopted, I was truly blessed to have such a wonderful man as my father! Very gracious, kind, matter of fact and a very nice person!!

Thank you to anyone who maybe able to help!

God Bless!!
