Hey, just wanted to say a nice big thank you to the people on this web site, i think it looks great and its nice to have a forum for discussion about adoption. I am a 22 year old adoptee myself, living in Ottawa, Ontario. I have some concerns about whether or not i should try to seek out more information about my biological mother and her family, but its nice to know my concerns are shared ( it would seem) by other people.

Anyway, my name is Marc-André Mongeon, i was adopted in Ottawa ( and still live in the area) on my date of birth January 27th 1982 at Riverside Hospital. My bio mother was 24 at the time ( i do have some non-identifying info) and was placed by the Childrens Aid society of Eastern Ontario.

I don't know what will happen, if anyone reading this might be interested or have some kind of information, but i am still happy to have found this web site and a place to discuss.
