Adopting teenagers

It has been difficult for us to find much information, however I just bought a good book on adopting older children called "Our Own" by Trish Maskew. It is pretty helpful and reading the messages on this sight is as well...but most of the comments I get from people has been kind of negative especially because he is a boy and a teenager and of course will come with emotional baggage.
