This is a thread we have had from time to time that is always kind of fun (sometimes it's easier than others). Just fill in the blank: I'm proud of my kid because_______.

I should start .

I am proud of T (17) because he has been really sick all week -ear AND sinus infection, but has gone to school and not complained because it is state-testing all week. He's also not gotten totally stressed-out and lost it at home or school.

I am proud of CJ (13) because he is really trying to act more mature and take things a little more seriously (this has been an issue lateley).

I am proud of C (9) because after four swiming lessons he has been promoted to level 3. It looked like for a while there he would never get the hang of floating on his back.

I am proud of E (6) because she has just started going to school full-days and has done it every day so far this week.

I am proud of E(8) because last Monday (the 21st) he turned in the homework packets for the two previous weeks, then on thursday the 24th turned in last weeks homework packet, then yesterday turned in this weeks homework packet that isn't due till tomorrow. Prior to this he had only turned in two for the entire year.

I am proud of J(12) because he has gotten up and dressed before 8:00 every morning this week.

I am proud of T(11) because she has been practicing really seriously on her flute.

I am proud of C(4) because last night she put away her clean clothes without a fight.

I'm proud of my kid for spending 7 hours at Hershey Park, 4 hours in the car and an hour in the restaurant with only 4 minor behavior issues and ZERO major ones!
