New to this group hope to find support
My name is Julie, husband and I have adopted 3 older childern for the foster care 2 boys and a girl. They have been with us for six years and reading through this forum I can relate with aot of you. I hope to use this group as support and and help from some of you who have already gone through the middle school and high years with attachment children. We have had our share of struggles with them but, just the same I would not trade them for anything maybe some of the behavior I could do with out. I can not help but think if they did not have us they would have no one, I look forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome, Julie. You will find lots of support here, and even a bit of laughter. There is a Special Needs Chat on Tuesdays and Fridays, starting at 9:00 EST - I think. Since I am west coast I am always late. anyway, come see us there sometime!

Hi Julie! We just finalized the adoption of our 7 yr. old daughter. This is a great place. Glad you found it.
