Bipette,

How long had it been since he was last tested? There's no exact scientific time frame for weed to clear the system. It's different for everyone, is affected by body type, metabolism, and other things. It could be that he hasn't used at all again, or that it has been quite a while.

That's one of the things that I hate about this drug. You are absolutely right. And because he's lied to us before, we have no way of knowing if he's telling us the truth or not when he says he's been clean several weeks.

Sometimes it's like the story of the "boy who cried wolf". We've heard so many lies and broken promises that we don't believe them when they tell us the truth!

New here, wish I would have found this group sooner

Hello,
My name is Julie, husband and I have adopted 3 older childern for the foster care 2 boys and a girl. They have been with us for six years and reading through this forum I can relate with aot of you. I hope to use this group as support and and help from some of you who have already gone through the middle school and high years with attachment children. We have had our share of struggles with them but, just the same I would not trade them for anything maybe some of the behavior I could do with out. I can not help but think if they did not have us they would have no one, I look forward to getting to know you all.
Julie
