I likely would have said something along the lines of "I'm sure you wanted to poop your pants so you didn't miss out on the fun, but it wasn't that much fun after all was it?" and just leave it.

As for the wiping mess she is having...you might consider having her use wet wipes or those kazoo toddler wipes that help them wipe better than regular toliet paper until she is used to doing it the correct way. Just something that can take some time.

i'm sure she was triggered and wanted to see what would happen. Consider it an experimental thing on her part...the rest all sounds so amazing!

I'm glad things are working out. Make it a non-issue for you and she'l probably get bored.

Please don't blame young adoptees, we have gone through alot of feelings. I was placed for adoption by neighbor lady who assumed care for me over summer months when I was staying with her and she placed me with her lady friend. Nothing bfamily could do. She had adoption planned when she took me in. I spent alot of time in diapers until I stopped.
