Adopting person with mental retardation

We are actually hoping to find a child with downs syndrome and age doesn't really matter..as a matter of fact we would prefer someone age 8 and up. Any ideas? The state registries don't really seem to have much in this area. Is there a special site? Thanks...please email me at Kenaz@bellsouth.net
