Hello! I'm new to this site and hoping to get some info on adopting. I'm married and have a 2 year old son. Due to complications after his birth we are no longer able to have children. We ar every interested in adopting and have connected with a non profit group called Project Cuddle. We are in the first stages and need to have a home study done. Can anyone tell me what this home study is and what I might expect. thanks:

I am an adoptee in OKC area. I think it would be great to meet some of you in the area sometime. I searched for my bmom beginning in June 05 and found her and my bdad in December 05 and first met them in Feb 06. My bparents and other family are from MO but I was born and raised in OKC since this is where my bmom came to have me. Well, I hope to hear more from everyone here in the OK forum.

Howdy ya'll (LOL) just kidding. My name is Brittani H. and I am 18 years old soon to be 19 on January 4, 2009. I was born at deaconees hospital and raised in okc my whole life. I found out that i was adopted when i was 8 right after my grandmother (with whom I was very close to) died. I was told on Mother's Day. since then my amom and i have had a very very rocky relationship. it has been one full of misunderstanding,abuse,tears and pain. Things got even more worse when she found out that i am gay. I am trying to start my search for my bmom. Just wish me luck and give me words of encouragement.
