How to find Case Information
Born June 1927 in Dallas Texas at the Virginia K Johnson Home.
Parental rights were signed over to the home in July 1927. Home rights were signed over to adoptive parents December 1927 and the adoption was filed in the Garfield County Court, Oklahoma. I have the case number of the adoption that took place January 6, 1928. I have the original birth name and moms birth name but that is all. Why would a baby born in Texas be adopted in Oklahoma and if I can access the case number, what information will it show? As far as I know, there are no living relatives and my search is only for some information on birth father and mother so that there is medical and heritage information. I am unsure if this is Texas information or Oklahoma information so I'm confused.
