My husband has asked me to help him locate his birth mother and has given me his blessing to search online. He was born on Valentine's Day, 1974 at Doctor's General Hospital in OKC with Dr. Metcalf performing to the delivery. He was taken home from the hospital by his adoptive parents when he was still a newborn. His adoption was final (in another state) a year later. We have his original birth certificate that we obtained before we were married (had to make sure we weren't actually cousins) that has a birth mother, her age, and her address listed. How true these are, we don't know. We have a very happy life, but Brad really has a void that I'd love to help him fill. He cried when our daughter was born saying, "Do you realize this is the only person I know who is actually blood related to me?", and he's often mentioned that he wonders who he really looks like. He doesn't have any expectations - he doesn't allow himself that luxury. He simply wants to know who he looks like.
