Cambridge/Zanesville/Etc Area
I'm an open adoption birth mother living in the Cambridge/Zanesvile/Etc area. (Why etc? All those little towns!)
I'm also a wife to Josh, a Cambridge firefighter. And a Mom to Nicholas, our crazy one year old son.  Do you live near me? Cool!

I lived in Zanesville while I was growing up. I haven't been back in years, though.

I'm in Dayton, Ohio. I drive through Zanesville when going to see my family out east.

Karen; do you remember watching WHIZ? That's where I worked before returning home.
Lynn; EVERYONE drives past us going somewhere! Our friends from Maryland stopped on their way back through from visiting family in Illinois over Christmas. It's just a great place to get visitors!

I'm originally from Newark - quite familiar with the Zanesville / Cambridge, etc. area - still go back there when I visit my parents...

I'm not sure about WHIZ. I don't know which station, but I remember watching SuperHost on Saturdays and Shriley Temple movies on Sunday afternoons.

Actually, Jenna... I was gonna ask if you guys would like to meet up for dinner when we head out to Myrtle Beach in May. I think it's be funny to watch Nick and M size each other up.

Laila; like this thread, you can start your own one for your town/city in the General Ohio Local Adoption forum. Just start one that says, "HI STEUBENVILLIANS!" Or something of that nature.
(That said, I'm walking in WalkAmerica in April in Steubenville because we'll be on vacation when ours is in Cambridge!)

Hi my name is Mandi. My husband Greg and I are starting the adoption process. We have a 2 1/2 year daughter. We live right outside Z-ville. I would love to hear people process. Did you go though the state or private agency? We were looking at the agency a child is waiting.
