I received my non-ID from the adoption agency a couple years ago using the questionnaire Mackie sent to me. I was wondering if/when I should request it again? Would it even be advised to request it again? I guess I'm hoping to glean even the slightest bit of new/different info to aid in my search.
I'm pretty much at the point in my search where all I can do is search the Birth Index in Columbus. Fine and dandy, except we only get to the Columbus area once a year for family vacation. Last year was the first time I was able to get to Vital Statistics and discovered that there are *18* films just for my year of birth. In the three hours I was there, I only got through 2 1/2 of them! At this rate it's going to take me another 5 years just to get through all the films. ![]() Just a question, Mackie - got any advise? The thing you needed most was to know if your mother was SINGLE/MARRIED and you have that. I wish I could wave a magic wand but its gonna take you doing the search or taking the risk of getting someone else to do it.
Email me..........I have an idea. Blessings Mackie Quote:
