Where do we start ?
How does one start to look for a birth mom ? I have an 18 year old living with me who is looking for her birth mom. Adopted parents will not help her. Also my step son is trying to look for his biological sister but we know very little about her ! Where do we start ?

Julaine,
The first thing that is needed to start a search is good current non-id-info. Also, I believe in OH the legal age to assist one in a search is age 21 or emancipated. I would be happy to assist the 18 year old if they were 21.  In order to get good usable non-identifying-information from the agency one needs to let them know what they want and we use a form letter if you would like me to send it to them so they can obtain it.
