If you have your non-id info. and have done additional research, how do you know if you've found the right people? How do you verify it?
I don't want to pay a professional to do something that I am capable of doing myself and searching is such a personal thing. But I'm kind of stuck now because I'm not sure what to do with the information I've already found. My adoption agency will help if I'm looking to reconnect with my birthfamily (that's a great big YES) but I'm not sure they can verify what I think might be a match. Has anyone else had this problem? I've practically done an in depth genealogy chart for a family I'm hoping is mine. If they aren't my people, I'll definitely be upset and feel a bit creepy about knowing so much. |
