Looking for my husbands birthmom. He was born in Tulsa, ok at the salvation army home for unwed moms. From what we have been told, she was young and still in high school when she gave birth to him, she had TB, and she kept him for around 2 weeks, if not longer before she had to give him up. We do not know if christopher was the name given to him by his birthmom or not. Since records are sealed in OK, we have very little to go on. We are pretty sure that it was a private adoption. He was born on 12-01-70

I am searching for my birth mother. I recently viewed some of the fiche for the year 1975 at the Dept of Vital Stats in Columbus. I don't know my birth name but I do know my birthdate, city and county of birth. Also, I do not know my birth mother's maiden name. Would I be viewing the amended birth index or the original? How would I know? Any help or info that you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I was born January 17, 1952 at the Florence Crittenton Home in Colmbus, Ohio. I have received a copy of my original birth certificate with my birthmothers name on it it was Betty Douglass or Douglas. Any help would be much appreciated.

Like I told you in the email............without knowing the exact date of birth for this child there is no way to search the amended names for her. And with those births being missing we cannot search for accuracy of the date for you.
