I sent you an email explaining the process......so try your best to get the correct DOB and that is the best way to start your search.

The Birth Index we use starts in 1959 thru 1989 with some years totally missing or so fragmented they cannot be searched.....Sorry

They might send a list of the births for the DOB and POB and that is all.

The partial list of 1971 [only about 10% births listed] is on the OH birth index for the original names...
HOWEVER the 1971 list of Amended names are all there to the best of my knowlege.

Just wanted to clear that up real quick before we have a run on OH BIRTH INDEX....

Hello,
I've recently begun the search for my birth mother. I started by going to view the Ohio birth index in Columbus for the year 1975. I've only made 1 visit but do plan to go back however, how do I know if I'm viewing the amended index as opposed to the original? I don't know what my birth name was but I do have all of the other information. Any help?? Thanks.

I am just beginning my search for biological family. I have non indentifying info which tells me that I have at least 4 siblings before me. I'd like to find them and possibly my biological birth parents.

I was born at Grant in 1987.

Where do I begin?

Hello fellow seekers, I am in search of my birth parents and family. I have little information as my adoptive parents are gone. I do know I was born 2/14/66 at Mansfield General Hospital, male. I believe my birthmom was 29 at the time of my birth. Any help is greatly appreciated.
