I have a question......There was someone asking on a different thread if Ohio has any type of law stating that if the birth father was unaware of his child being born could he request info on the adoptted child (child being an adult and of age to search)??? I'm from TX so I have no idea but I was hoping someone here could tell me if they have heard of such a law????

I could use some help in a search for an adopted MALE dob. Feb. 8, 1969 (02/08/69) Born in Akron City Hospital and adopted out of Portage Co.

Wanting help with OH B-Index info
You wrote...
No SEARCH ANGEL will send the whole OH BIRTH INDEX to anyone. They would be sending 30 years of original births and 30 years of amended names. So that doesn't happen. They might send a list of the births for the DOB and POB and that is all. Is there a way someone could send me a partial list of those born on 03/09/1964 in Cincinnati Ohio? Hi Tracey,
I am sorry you are back searching again. I was waiting for you to get your current non-id-info [email dated 2-23-05 stated they were gonna send your info to you] I did several hours of work on your search....and you had said your birth mother was SINGLE however the info you sent to me had nothing to indicate she was single on it. You also gave me a date of birth for her and that she was born in KY. I did the searches for the name left for the single mother on the OH index and there were no females born that date in KY. So without information that is current, I doubt you are gonna get ahead....As for a list of names, I DON'T DO THAT. The few times I have done so, even tho I said this MIGHT BE or COULD BE the person owned that name and started posting it all over the internet. That is too scary.....Innocent people get hurt that way. So, while I want desperately for you to locate your birth mother....your info is not adequate for me to complete it.....and Its doubtful anyone else can. NO COMPETENT researcher will send you more names than you need and for sure if we can't tell which name is yours......you won't be able to.:-( Best to you Dear one.... Blessings Mackie Quote:

If anyone can help my search. I was born in Warren, Ohio on July 1, 1974 in Trumbull Memorial Hospital. I weighed 4 pounds 7 oz and beleive I was about 19 inches. I beleive the adoption went through social services in warren. The doctors name on my Birth Certificate is George Mokris, M.D. I was told that my birth mother was around 19 and not married. I have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes with a brown skin tone. If any of this sounds familar or you can be of some help contact me anytime.
