Hi, I am posting because I am searching for either of my birth parents. I was born I belive at Riverview Hospital in Toledo, OH on June 26, 1970. That is if the information on my birth certificate is correct as far as that goes. I am called Connie by my adpotive parents. I hired a searcher over 18 months ago, haven't heard much of anything. I do have some non-ident info that came with me to my adpotive parents. If anyone can lend a hand, it would help so much. Please let me know if you need any more info.

If no one else is helping you I will try to direct you. I believe if I had hired someone to do the search and its been 18 months I would give upon them too.

The searcher that I have hired (and paid) is finally looking into my case after a bit of jumping up and down on my part, but has asked me to write to Lucas County Children Services for non-ident info and also Lucas County Probate Court for non-ident info. I have written a letter (not sent as of yet) but wonder if there is infomation that I am forgetting to ask for. I am afraid that I will get back something from them that says...mom - female, dad - male and that is all. When I was adopted, my parents received a hand written note from the caseworker and on it was the physical description of both my bio mom and dad, (height, weight, hair color, eye color), that my mom had 8 months of private medical care and the doctor she saw, their age and their education. Am I going to get more than that from Lucas County Children Services or the Probate court? I saw on other posts around the forum that someone has a form letter to send for non-ident info, would some one be willing to pass that along to me? I want to be sure to get as much info as possible from the Lucas County agencies for my searcher. Thanks so much.
