Hi Nicole,
I was born in Sydney N.S. and I have years books from Glace Bay High School and Holy Angels High school and I might be able to help you out also if you have a name or description of your sister.
I was interested in your post because I was born in Cape Breton too and I am searching for my bparents ( I was born in April of 19/82)
I also have information on how to get birth records from the Nazerath House Orphanage ( which no longer exist) Your sister could have possibly been sent there before her adoption was finalized.
