Boy born April 1965 in Fargo, ND.
Was brought home by A-parents on June 11th, 1965. A-mom says that they "picked me out" so I'm thinking there were other babies/infants to chose from. My A-parents have been the best anyone could hope for but there is always the curiosity of who/what/where I came from. Please - any info at all would be helpful!

GOOD NEWS!!!
My husband got a call on Wednesday, May 26th to say that his birth mother has been located and the adoption search agent from Lutheran Social Services has spoken with her! The birth mom was anxious to hear the letter that he had written to her and she agreed to have the LSS representative send her more information. This is such a positive sign and we're nervously keeping our fingers crossed that she'll agree to contact. Keep my husband and his birth mom in your prayers for a reunion soon .... baby boy born April 30, 1965 Fargo, North Dakota given the name "Keith" by birth mother Blessings to all! Deb (adoptees wife)

More good news for my husband! LSS called on Friday, August 6th and said that his birthmother would like to start to correspond through letters using the LSS agent as a go-between. We had sent her a letter many months ago. We still don't know her name or her where-abouts but hoping that will come in time.
We did find out a great deal of medical history/information from his birthmother (via the LSS agent) AND he has 2 younger 1/2 brothers ... but the brothers did not know about him (yet). We plan to sit down and write her another letter and we are sending a few pictures back to her (via the LSS agent). We can't wait to receive a picture of her and hopefully the 2 brothers as well. 5 long exhausting years of constant searching ... now the journey REALLY begins for my husband and his birth family. Blessings to all! Deb (adoptee's wife) baby boy born April 30, 1965 in Fargo, ND.

My husband (born 04-30-65 in Fargo, ND) and his birth mom (Roberta but goes by the name Bobbie) have sent back and forth a couple letters since last summer. It is going slow - but we've included a few recent pictures and a few baby pictures and although she says she will be sending some pictures, we've yet to receive any...... I'm sure they will come when she is ready. It will be wonderful to put a face to the handwriting AND see what resemblence if any exists.
My husband is excited every time a letter arrives and is pleased with what she writes. His 2 younger 1/2 brothers still don't know about him as of her last letter back in October of 2004. I know that bothers Jim that he is still a secret but keep assuring him that it's not just something you blurt out - she needs to feel that the timing is right and soooooo many other aspects to consider within her family. We still don't know much of the birthfather - she hasn't revealed any name but did say that she never contacted him again since before he was born. We don't ask her any questions about him as not to make her feel uncomfortable. Hoping that in time maybe she'll release a name so we can search for that part of the gene pool also. Life is good - I keep trying to assure my husband that the contact is staying positive in nature and to continue to be patient ... he's waited almost 40 years so several more months of writing isn't going to hurt. We are hoping for a possible physical reunion this summer when they go from their winter home in New Mexico to their summer home in Wisconsin. Thanks for listening .... blessings always :-) Deb (wife of adoptee)
