SOMEONE KNOWS SOMETHING in NC 1969
Someone has to know! I can't stop having faith in that or this search will be over. The birth father "hooked up" with (Virginia) RUTH WIMBERLY around 1968 in Daytona Beach, FL. He may or may not have known about me (so many stories surrounding my adoption) THAT DOES NOT MATTER TO ME!!! I have found 1/2 the puzzle,& will be complete when I find the missing 1/2. I just want to know . . . where I came from! PLEASE if you know anyone who dated, Virginia Ruth Wimberly while in Daytona Beach, FL PLEASE!!!!!!!!! let me know. I have information on the birth father but will keep private for HOPEFUL verification.

On one post you stated you have the name "Bill" to work with. Is that your bfather's name or what you believe his name is? Do you know his apprx. age at your birth? I know this seems like a long shot, but on the NC birth index you can put only a first name, last name, year, whichever you want to search by. You may get 1 result and may get 100.

The search path that is overlooked b/c of no chance of it leading anywhere is usually the path that leads you straight to the answer.

Also, I don't remember from your past post, but do you know the man your mother was married to at the time of your birth? Possibility of contacting him? He may not know your bfather's name but possible friend's of your bmom.

Just a few suggestions.

I am just now reading your post, I must not have the settings to email me. I did contact the birth father of record and he knew nothing about me and that led to a different issue when I sent him the paperwork where he gave up his rights, it is not his signature nor was he living at the address listed on the letter.
How do I searc the index you refered to? I would surly do it, I have never heard of it though.

What schools did your mother go to? Have you considered checking yearbooks of the year she graduated. Have you received your non-id? Did it have anything regarding your father in it? Age, haircolor, what he did for a living, etc.

Also don't know if you read the post about NC having a bill before the legislature. Jump on board, maybe his name is on your OBC.

So I keep in touch with my siblings and as different as we are, we are similar as well. Sometimes it makes me wonder about the other side . . .Maybe they don't even know about me, or perhaps they do. Maybe my birth father died years ago and had no other children . will the questions ever end?? I can only hope at some point someone finds this site, and knew Virgina Wimberly, at the time she was living in Daytona Beach, FL . . .as little as you think the piece you have is, it maybe the missing one.
