I have gotten 1976 and 1977 up and running I did 1976 because my data was in that. 1968 and 69 are uploading into the database and I hope to have that searching finished by tommorow. However you can view the 76/77 data online now at http://www.ncadoptions.org/

Let me know if you have questions etc. Eventually I will get from 68- 2002 up and will try to keep current each time new data is put avaliable.

site may go down for a bit having to move the hosting account to another machine because of disk space for the database. They will have to change the nameservers as well. Hopefully it wont be down long. The good thing is they have donated an additional 1.5 gigs of storage space.

Maybe when you get 70 and 71 up and running, I be able to know when I was born. My actual birthdate, even Social Services can't confirm my ACTUAL birthdate. So I'll keep my fingers crossed. I found my sis's info in '69, I sent her the web address. Thank you.

Great job on this!!!! Without something like Excel or db skills, this information was really hard for most people to read and decipher. I remember the first day I found these online, I was using Notepad to scour the results. Oh, how far we've come.

I am trying to find the records for my nephew that was born in 1968. I'm not sure of the month but think it was probably springtime. You are using Alamance Regional Medical Center(which may be because the old hospitals records went to the new hospital--I don't know); but Alamance County Hospital was open in 1968 and I'm not sure if Memorial Hospital was open then or not; but Alamance Regional Mediacl Center was not open then. If I don't know what month and day in 1968; do I have to put in every day and every month in 1968 to find the record? This will take a long time to do. I did a few days in April and May, 1968 and got no records. Thank you

Since 1968 is the earliest record, can anyone point me in the direction of finding out information for 1962?

I am trying to locate the county of birth for a male born 1962 to an unwed mother with the maiden name of Linker. He was not put up for adoption.

Anyone have any ideas on where to begin searching?
