My name is Sarah Catherine Shaw, and I was born on May 9th, 1989 at the Grace Maternity Hospital in Halifax. I know that my birth parents names are Joyce and Paul, they originated from St. John's Newfoundland and were married on July 21, 1995 in St. John's. I am currently looking for my birth parents, or any members of my birth family. I was adopted to the Home of the Guardian Angels, in Halifax.

My birth mother Joyce, was born December 9, 1969 in Newfoundland and was nineteen years old at the time of adoption. In 1990 she graduated from a university in Halifax, doing a B. S. C in Psychology. I think that she worked in a daycare in Newfoundland after she graduated. In 1989, she stated that she was involved in hobbies such as C.W.L, Sacristan, Glee Club, Special Education Committee and the graduation committee. She has one brother and three sisters, who would now be 34, 29, 35 and 38 years old. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

My father Paul was born on August 15, 1965 in Newfoundland and was twenty-three years old at the time of adoption. In 1989 he had completed grade twelve and was employed as a brick layer's helper in Newfoundland. He has two brothers who would now be 44 and 35, and two sisters who would now be 43 and 42 years old. In 1990-1991, I'm pretty sure that Paul attended a Forestry course in Stephenville, Nfld. I also know that he worked at a wildlife department in 1989.. he liked lobster fished, moose hunting and the outdoors.

I'm pretty sure my adoptive parents hometown is St. John's, Newfoundland so I'm hoping that someone who reads this might recognize the information that I'm aware of.. If any of this information rings a bell to anyone, I would really appreciate to be contacted. It is very important to me that I have contact with my birth family and I would appreciate any information at all! Thanks so much, Sarah
